WORLD FAMOUS TURKEY CHILI

Ingredients:

1 tube of lean ground beef or turkey

1 large (28) oz can Rotel 

1/2 white onion chopped

1 can of diced green hatch chiles

2 cans of black beans - no sodium 

1 can pinto beans - no sodium

8 oz can tomato sauce


1 teaspoon paprika 

2 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon cumin

1 tablespoon garlic powder

Cayenne pepper to taste

Salt and pepper 

Toppings (optional)

Plain Greek yogurt

Shredded Cheese 

Green onions - chopped

Fritos

Instructions:

  1. Chop 1/2 white onion.

  2. Heat skillet to medium and brown ground turkey. Add salt and pepper.

  3. Add chopped white onions and cook for 5 minutes until soft.

  4. Transfer cooked ground turkey and onions to a large pot.

  5. Add rotel, hatch chiles, tomato sauce and beans. Drain and wash all beans before adding too pot. Add all seasoning.

  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 20-25 minutes (longer the better). Enjoy.
